I have a Supernose, too. it runs in my family. I always tell people, "If I say, 'I smell smoke.' Don't say, 'I don't smell anything.' Check it out!! Believe me, there is smoke.!" You wear blush just the way I like to. I don't think a lot of blush is attractive. It's supposed to mimic a real blush. No matter what the latest fad dictates. Just because it's "in" doesn't mean it looks good. xo~linda

Mary, my go-to lip sunscreen is Coppertone Sport SPF 50, which is clear and has a very mild fragrance but doesn't taste nasty at all. Like any lip sunscreen, it needs to be reapplied frequently. This is the one I wore while wandering all over S Korea. We just got back from a weekend in the Nevada desert, and I used it there, too. If I use the Coppertone Sport lip, my lips don't burn or dry out, but like I said, you have to reapply frequently. It's not something you can wear with any lip color, either. It's just for protection but does that job very well.

After I retired from teaching at age 55, folks suddenly thought they could get me to do tons of other things because I was "retired." They didn't understand that I left teaching so I could do more of my own things and also do more things for my family and church. I have stayed very busy in the 8 years since then, and sometimes it seems that the word "retired" means that you're no longer "tired" from the job you left, but instead you are "tired" from all the other things you're doing now that you have the time. You are tired all over again! In other words, you are "re-tired"!!

Hi Mary, thanks for the video! I've said it before, and I'm going to say it again: Red is your color! Re lip products with sunscreen, my favorite is the Paula's Choice Lipscreen SPF 50, BUT it does have a taste to it that I can best describe as chemical. Not surprising, as the sunscreen in it is homosalate and avobenzone. So I don't think it would work for you. Last time I tried to reorder it, they were out of stock, so I got a product called Dermatone on Amazon that, as far as I can tell, has no taste. It's a mineral sunscreen, and again, as far as I can tell, doesn't have much of a white cast. I usually wear it under lipstick, so I don't worry too much about a white cast. I've also heard good things about Cay Skin Isle Lip Balm. It contains vanillin, so it will taste like vanilla. I've also heard about Tatcha The Kissu Lip Tint SPF 25 Hydrating Tinted Lip Sunscreen. It also contains an mineral sunscreen and no added flavor or fragrance, so I'd guess it has no taste. It's available at Sephora, and it's pricey: $34.

Recently got back from a beach vacation. I really debated about taking my Blessed pallet with me because I didn’t want anything to happen to it during travels BUT I did take it because I don’t use a lot of color in my eye looks usually and a lot of the colors in your pallet come across as summer/vacation eye looks. I had so much fun using those colors to create simple but gorgeous looks. Mostly did used Little Bit or Pita I. The crease and then Buttercup, Fritz’s, Shy Guy, etc on the lid. AND the pallet made it safely home again!😊

On our 1st cruise in 2013, ALL the older gentlemen would come up to us everywhere we went [honestly!!] they were adamant to tell us to enjoy life NOW!! To not wait until we got their age & we truly took it to heart & even though our last cruise was 2020, we have been enjoying life! We go to Deadwood a lot, travel to Vegas once a year [where our AZ grands & daughter & my bff in CA can join us. I collected my 1st SS check this month & hubby's wanting to retire soon as well. We start cruising next year [ Lord willing & they don't pull another scamdemic!!] We never tell until we get back either! 🤠

Can't believe close to when I semi-retire and have more time, the same thing is happening to you! Woman I already miss not having more of your You Tubes, but I am happy for you and will always check Friday or Saturday to watch, and if your not there, I'll try again the next week. Wanted you to know that I received Wake Up Beautiful Serum and have been using it and absolutely love it! I didn't get the lotion, but absolutely love the serum. I am doing my best at 64 to wait to pull social security until 66 & 10 months. Will be 65 in December and then have 1 year and 10 months to go. Great memory for me, Mary! My mother's stove had a "deep well cooker" that housed that noodle pot!! My daughter has the pot, and loves it. Sigma really does make great products. I understand completely about doing the things you probably said you wanted to do whilst being retired and hope you have a wonderful time on your travels. I think your hair looks good longer and I remember when it was red and far longer than it is now 😂. I have kept my hair longer for years so I can tie it up and not fuss with it every day 😂. I like pretty clips etc to add interest because I wear it up constantly in warmer weather (too hot 🥵 to wear it down). Best wishes x

As you know, Mary, I’m not “retired, per se, I’m disabled… and since I stopped working… I literally only can tell what day of the week it is by what Dr office or appointment I’m in! That’s it! And you know I’ve got a lot of appointments! I LOVE LOVE LOVE your hair longer. The last time it was longer, I was sad when you ended up cutting it. I am sad that I won’t be able to send you anymore handmade gifts. I still wanted to make you a set of earrings that I’ve been planning. I love Yard sales and Estate sales. I truly wish I had a car or even better a truck! A very big truck! I would be at all the sales.. and, even better, this gal ain’t too proud to do a neighborhood drive by on the night before Garbage day! It’s amazing what people put to the curb where I live!
